Orvieto Scalo Castle Hotels

I normally never book a 2 Star Hotel but I booked it not realizing it was 2 Star. What makes it two star as they do not have 24 hour service. this hotel is a great value, middle of village, nice patios, If you are a budget, this is a great place for you

Gorgeous view of town of Orvieto, a lovely pool and hot tub, and beautiful grounds. Nice breakfast too.

Hotel is easy to find, and close to the historic center, underground and museums.

We've had a very good experience with this stay. The property is located in an open environment with a stunning surrounding view. Sleeping in a 1300 years old, stone room was definitely a rare opportunity. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this to friends.

This was our absolute best stay in the three weeks we were in Europe! The staff was amazing, the food outstanding and the location — I can’t even begin to describe. If I could give it a higher rating I would!

We were delighted to stay at Hotel Podere Sette Piagge for our first night in Italy. It was a beautiful setting and our gracious hosts welcomed us and made us feel at home. Breakfast was outstanding as well.

Excellent property. The resort is located on what appears to be a farm or in a farm area. We stayed for 4 nights and loved nearly everything. The room was excellent, only complaint was the bed/pillows were a bit hard for our tastes. If you like a firm mattress it will be good. We did not eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner so we cannot comment on the quality of the food. Breakfast was typical and high quality. The spa was nice as well. Beautiful property, rooms were spacious and well appointed. Staff were wonderful and helpful, Paolo welcomed us and provided many helpful recommendations on restaurants and sites nearby. Breakfast was delicious, pasteries and bread freshly baked and staff very welcoming. Loved our stay.

A lovely B&B just outside town. Free Parking and Wi-Fi. Our room was a nice size, as was the bathroom, and had everything we needed. We also had a balcony with a lovely view of the countryside. Our hostess, Isabella, was delightful. She gave us restaurant recommendations and information on visiting the city. Absolutely Stunning! The grounds and rooms are first class! The staff is friendly and helpful in all aspects during the stay. Peaceful and serene is an understatement. Food and breakfast at the resort is top notch. Other dining options near the resort are amazing. Al Baciamano and Seven Cafe are great stops. Close enough to Tuscany day trips. Will definitely stay again and share with friends looking for a relaxing first class stay and amenities.

We had a lovely time at FonteLiving. My 85 year old mother was very impressed and happy with the super clean room, kitchen and bathroom facilities provided. The view from our spacious balcony was stunning and gave us the perfect reason to stay as much as possible at the property. We enjoyed sipping the Tuscan wine from our balcony. Our experience at Michelangeli's B & B in Orvieto was exceptional! We stayed almost 2 weeks and never had a complaint. We found the room rate reasonable. Francesca, the owner, was kind and helpful but also gave us our privacy. Despite her broken English (and our broken Italian), we managed to communicate.
