"This is a beautiful location with stunning views that is quick and easy to get to from Seattle, yet feels like a real get-away! The charming, historic, waterfront house is very close to the lighthouse, and in the same park as Oscar the Bird King, one of the 6 giant wooden troll sculptures in the PNW. There are plenty of places to explore, shop, and eat on Vashon. And it is affordable!"

"This place was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We pulled down the massive hill and we were greeted by a beautiful picture of the house with Mt. Rainier shining in the backdrop. We spent all evening taking pictures. Eventually, we did see one orca in the backyard! We did a lot of traveling but the ferry was super easy to use. The island is very quaint and full of nice people. Beds were comfortable and the whole house has a cozy feel to it. The kitchen is totally stocked and made us few at home. The worst part was how hard it was to stop staring out the windows at the mesmerizing view. We told everyone we know about it. If we ever come back, we will never be able to stay anywhere else. We’re spoiled now!"
