The best stay I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. I’ve spent more on big name hotels that were worse. The bed was more comfortable than a mainstream hotel, and the air conditioning was better too. Those are my two main things I care about. Was also greeted by a nice friendly cat. Furry greetings are always a plus.

The room was cozy but as promised with two double beds. Very clean. I spoke with staff twice before actually checking in because I was arriving very late and they assured me it wasn’t an issue. The only complaint that I have was that I saw online that there was a pool but I never saw one.

The lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful. She even showed me how to set the alarm clock on my cellphone. I believe her name is Elly. The directions for where to dine were oustanding.

The room was very clean and well organized. The only suggestion I would give anyone planning on staying is that you need to bring your own shampoo (which is fine, but I've gotten spoiled and hadn't brought any with me).

Evergreen Inn is an older motel with all the basics needed for a comfortable night's rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were within a short walking distance of places to eat. It was also a very quiet location.
