An excellent hotel, right in centre of city with easy walking to al the sights and transport links. We arrived on my birthday and was offered an upgrade to a sensational room with a balcony. Breakfast was incredible with so much selection available. Staff were courteous and professional and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying In Oslo. Thank you The Clarion.

We got a train from Bergen to Oslo CS which is accross the road from the hotel. The hotel is very centrally located resulting in Oslo being a very walkable City

Really lovely stay here, nice hotel, comfortable and good amenities. Clean and staff were all lovely. Great breakfast and easy to walk to the main city sights. Would recommend.

The day before I checked out, I sprained my right ankle and it was swollen and painful.The reception staff was not very helpful when I asked for a wheelchair. She said the hotel only has one wheelchair and it was already loaned out.There is no record which room occupant has loan the wheelchair so she doesn't know when it will be returned.She asked me to come down to the reception to check again which is ridiculous! Am I supposed to come down every hour or what? Finally, I told her to make a note to send the wheelchair to my room next morning but it never came! I had to limp my way slowly to breakfast and also all the way to lobby to check out. All this time not a single staff approached me at all to offer help or assistance. Very disappointed with the service standard!

This is an excellent hotel right in the center of everything. We walked to the Opera House and Munch museum within 15 min. The hotel also has a beautiful breakfast buffet.

Funky stay in the heart of Oslo. Great location, walking distance from the main train station. I wish I knew, I would have forgone the taxi ride!!! Rooms are good, though there are no real closest to speak of and we never had a floor mat in the shower. It gets messy in there and I’m sure most people use the smaller towels provided for body/face, on the floor. First two night we opted to not have the room cleaned. On the third, we left the ‘Clean Room’ sign on the door but never had house keeping turn up. Breakfast buffet was ok and I can see how it would impress some people. I’d stay there again.

Hotel was a great location. Some rooms are an unusually long way from the elevators. Not the most kid friendly hotel - Beware that they don’t allow kids in the pool after 6pm no matter how well they behave. Breakfast was a large selection of pretty much anything you could ask for!

I found the breakfast here superb. It had everything. Quality food too like salmon and strawberries. The room was good. Lacked bathroom amenities eg bathrobe, slippers, bath cap. It was a modern design but there was no where to hang anything! Few coat hangers were supplied for the clothes. I found the staff not that helpful. The 4pm checkin was very inconvenient- why not 3pm?
