We stayed in the smallest room and it was very small due to the dormer ceilings, which forced me to duck sometimes. The bathtub/ shower also had limited space for standing. That said, though, we loved the room. It was very cute and cozy and the bed was excellent. There was a love seat under the window and a bag with beach towels and a water bottle for our use. Apple and Pear Orchard was a Plus - love the beautiful scenery and atmosphere.
Guy - Owner was very friendly and accommodating, we appreciated the hospitality while staying at Stora Herrestad.

Fantastic location and stunning decor!!! The spa was amazing, their relaxation room and the view there is a must see! All the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are well kept with lots of spaces to relax, sit down and enjoy the view. Lots to do/occupy your time. All in all, great getaway, worth the money! I would definitely return for a longer stay (also don't forget to go into the Ystad city center! it's charming!).

The folks there are so helpful
And friendly, the room is on the small side but comfy and our room had a little terrace to sit out on in the evening. The breakfast is very nice and the hotel is so close to the train/bus station and in the old town with many shops and restaurants.
