“Property is nice enough, clean and comfortable. Location is pretty good and central. Where the hotel falls down is the service from the staff. There was little assistance in terms of advice of how to get from the station to the airport. Also, an iron was requested for the room but despite promises never arrived. Property good, staff service and friendliness a little lacking.”

“Matteo was a most gracious, generous and helpful host! He welcomed us warmly, taking care of parking, luggage and offering sight-seeing and dining tips. He’s been an ardent steward of this handsome mid-19 c. palazzo where he grew up, his family’s home for generations. When Matteo moved back he carefully restored the ambience of a much loved finely appointed home: beautiful painted ceilings from an earlier era, antique furniture accents and fabulous Venetian chandelier over the entrance stairs……

“Fantastic room and great location. It was a little hard to find - the lettering on the glass door is white with a white curtain behind it, so it was hard to see when arriving after dark. Parking was a little challenging. We ended up at the paid lot a few blocks away - slightly inconvenient to have to keep renewing the time. Otherwise, everything was great - the room itself was amazingly lovely. All in all, very happy with the stay. ”
