He then noticed one of our backpack tops open. When we addressed it the young man he remarked that we should have been paying attention… we then asked to see the video in which the woman was around our bags blocking the view with an envelope. The young man claimed he saw nothing. If anything he should have been kinder as we were in his hotel when this happened. Rooms were very nice but no privacy unless you close your curtains. Room safes did not work in either of our rooms. You cannot flush toilet paper due to old pipes. Area did not feel very safe but we did not need to leave the hotel without a guide since the dining in the hotel was great. Overall I would recommend this hotel. "Very great communication leading up to and throughout our trip. Staff was very helpful especially in arranging rides around town and to the airport early in the morning. The room was comfortable and the shower water was high pressure and very hot. Convenient to the Plaza de Ponchos and a welcome calm space at the end of the day."
