"Had a great 3 night stay for my mom’s 72nd birthday and this home did not disappoint! Gorgeous views from every room, very clean, new couch, great beds and plenty of comfortable space for each of us. Decent kitchen with all the essentials you need to cook and eat in…basement had second fridge if you need extra. Too early to spend much time outside, but there were a few chairs for us to sit in the sun and saw lots of nice looking outdoor furniture in storage. House is a good 15-20 min from town, so make sure you have what you need before heading to the house. And be prepared for a fairly bumpy dirt road…the house is almost at the dead end, which added to the peaceful atmosphere…definitely worth the drive and the dust!"

"Our stay was during the off season for the area, so it was very quiet and peaceful. Extremely short walk into Wallowa State Park, River running behind the property was enjoyable. For someone who loves rivers, mountains and pine trees it is a nice little place to stay."

"While we enjoyed the cabin, it was clean and stocked with a lot of things one would need to cook up a meal. There were a few things that we had a problem with. The foot rest on the recliner doesn’t stay up. The king bed doesn’t really fit the bedroom, the side next to the bathroom is just over a foot away from the wall. You have to waste a lot of water to get hot water to the kitchen. The water was some of the best tap water I’ve had in a long time. The check in and check out was a little confusing procedure. It was so quiet, just like we hoped. Overall it was fun."
