“Our 2 night stay was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean. What kept this from being a 5 star review were the amenities in the room. The coffee maker was a joke. My husband tried to make coffee in the morning and it looked like rusty water. Secondly the bathroom toilet paper was barely one ply. There is better quality paper at state rest stops! Then what they tried to pass off as soap was ridiculous. For the price we paid for our stay I expected much……

“Beautiful views and very, very quiet! It was close enough to Joseph that it was easy to go to dinner, and we even cooked on the stove a few times! “This a cozy tent next to a horse pasture. You have a stunning view of the Wallowas in the morning and evening. It is clean and warm, with a hot shower. This is the perfect place to stay after some lovely long hikes. Close to town but yet secluded. I have stayed here before and I hope to do so again in the future. The hosts are welcoming, kind, and always ready to help.”

“The condo's internal amenities were nice. The kitchen was very well equipped. The unit only had 2 bar stools so 2 of us stood at the counter to eat and sat on the floor to play cards. The deck was near a commercial horse corral, so the flies kept us inside.The location was within walking distance of Wallowa Lake, a small grocery store and the tram. There was a nice electric fireplace for the winter months and the 2 full bathrooms was great for 2 couples.”

“Easy check in. Very clean and had everything needed to cook a meal instead of eating out every meal. Convenient location to get to the lake or downtown. Would definitely recommend!”

“Was quaint and unique. (I'm 72 so the "romantic" part was kinda lost on me) Would urge folks to read carefully the the payment and charge schedule. Don't miss the rather large damage deposit that is due after the cancellation time is expired. (At the submission of this review, I am trusting it will be refunded as advertised) I also found it off putting to be charged an additional "cleaning fee" and then told in the "rules for the Bunkhouse" book that it was our duty to strip the bed and to……

“This is a nice, clean, and affordable location near Joseph. I was ready to skip the trip until this property showed up on my search. I would rent from Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals again!”

“This condo was a perfect fit for my family of four. We didn't use the kitchen much but it was nice to have. It's close to downtown Joseph and tontje lake. We enjoyed our stay.”

“I usually camp at the campground. This was such a treat to stay indoors. The accommodations were great and plenty. Lots of fans and air conditioning! Extra blankets if needed. Board games and snacks/treats! I felt well accomodated.”

“Google maps certainly did not like the address -provided and took us to a wrong location. Getting ahold of the actual host was impossible. Had to go through VRBO then to another remote managing company that really didn't know the property. The actual host/owner was impossible to get ahold of. For this reason I will not use VRBO again. The place was very nice and in a good location, but the total price per day was unreasonable. For the price paid per day, you would expect the host to provide some……

“Wonderful new property close to all locations. Near tram. Quick walk to putt putt golf and restaurants. Near lake and trails. The accommodation is well stocked, quiet and extremely comfortable.”

“Very cute, Rustic Cabin. Truly a Cabin - the cabinetry, panelling, flooring, etc is all original to the cabin (I am guessing built in the 50's or 60's ?). Updated with nice period type furniture. Bed was comfy. Excellent linens, towels, sheets, etc. Well stocked kitchen as far as spices, cooking oils, dishes, etc. The location is excellent, you can walk to the Lodge, The tram, even over to the main lake at the park which is maybe 1/2 mile. Close to the shops, restaurants, mini golf, etc. ……

“Property was great for pets and the whole family. We had a great time all our kids stayed with us then we all went to Father in law funeral. Had a gathering at the cabin with family. The wheather was absolutely amazing could've had a better day. ”
