“This place has some age on it. Basic amenities. The room had a weird unpleasant smell when we turned the heater on. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was basic continental style except for the fresh waffle maker. Mammoth Spring is off the beaten path and lodging options are limited. I would not hesitate to book here again if stopping in the area.”

“Overall, it was a good rental. The place itself, clean and roomy. Full kitchen which I didn’t take advantage of. It was quiet and peaceful. There is someone living above but the very occasional floor thumping (not loud or late) was not an issue. Good stuff. - location was perfect for me. If you want to explore downtown, it’s perfect. “This was a super nice rustic river home.Right across from the river with some beautiful spots to sit around the property. River access And park in walking distance. Beautiful view of the river from the front balcony. You can't hear anything but the river when your outside. Amazing spot to stay”

Our only problem was that one of our family was bitten by a brown recluse while in bed over the July 4th holiday. (She smashed it on her neck and was able to identify it.) She spent 3 hours in the ER, where the docs also ID'd the bite, put her on antibiotics immediately and watched the progress. They got to it quickly, so other than a big scare, she was eventually……

“Everything went great. Perfect for what I needed.”
