This inn is beautifully restored! The furnishings and details are amazing! Breakfast was delicious and the cookies, wine, and charcuterie in the evening were a nice added touch. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Parking lot is a added plus.

It was the cutest bed and breakfast near the beach to come with family. We enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the lovely innkeeper who assisted us during our stay! Very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious, and it was in a nice area only 10 minutes walking to the beach. Room was very spacious as well.

We both loved the new look inn. We stayed in the old pacific grove inn but this version is so much better. Beautiful rooms, clean with wine and a great breakfast. The staff helps the reasons for loving the inn. Friendly, informative. We will for sure come back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious--breakfast, charcuterie & wine in the afternoon, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and sherry available from 7PM on each evening. We arrived at 6:45, just as the chocolate chip cookies were baking, and the house smelled so welcoming. We're already looking forward to our next trip!

A wonderful haven for a peaceful getaway. The Inn is costly and comfortable and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. The wine and cheese is intimate and a great opportunity to meet the other guests.

The staff at the Charles was extremely friendly. We felt right at home and all of our needs were met. We loved the look and feel to the inn. It's very walkable to Lighthouse ave and to the beach as well.

Anniversary Bliss!

Went to the Charles for our Wedding Anniversary, and were pampered every minute of our stay. Ian, the Innkeeper, was warm, friendly and most attentive. We will definitely be going back!
