  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Everything was perfect! The staff are all very friendly and happy to help. Our room was cleaned daily which was so nice! Having the continental breakfast every morning before heading out to the mountain for the day was an appreciated added amenity. We definitely would come back and stay. Perfect location!

We enjoyed our stay at The Riverwalk Inn. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greated by friendly team members. The rooms are nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed a walk behind the hotel to the river where we encountered a family of snow geese foraging for breakfast. There are plenty of restaurant options and stores around the hotel so would highly recommend this hotel.
