"I greatly appreciate the wonderful staff at this resort! Prior to the trip I called to confirm an oceanfront room and was told that this could not occur until the day of check-in. This was disappointing considering that the online pictures showed an ocean view. I was also informed that the ramp leading to the beach was not available and parking was limited, both due to damage from Hurricane Milton. Attempted to cancel the reservation but was told I would be charged regardless, so we continued with the trip. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised at the amazing view from the spacious one bedroom suite (seems that all rooms have somewhat of a view) and grateful that we did not change hotels. The ramp to the beach was not necessary as their pool is fantastic and large enough for many kids, a few teens, and about two dozen adults (plus they have stairs). The location is convenient to a CVS, Publix, Angelica's Diner (delicious), and many other restaurants and shops. Parking was not an issue whatsoever. It's wonderful that the staff communicates through text message prior to and during your stay. The trip was for my friend's 48th birthday and the customer service associate (Mark) even offered to pick up a cake and candles for her!!! We were extremely happy with our stay and will definitely return when in the Ormond Beach area. This is the perfect location for anyone who used to party in Daytona Beach for Spring Break in the 90s but now wants something a bit calmer. "

"I booked reservations for my wife and my stepdaughter to attend to a family emergency. My wife read the reviews and saw something about bedbugs being an issue. Because of that they booked a separate reservation at a different property and I ended up staying here at the Hampton Inn by myself. I had no problems at all during my stay there but hope that whatever issue there was with bedbugs, they were addressed with Hampton Inn so that anyone checking out their reviews would know that the problem is no longer an issue."
