“The staff is very helpful and welcoming, even with my very late evening check in. I appreciated their warm greetings. The location was not ideal for my short stay, but it was clean - a few things needed repair (door frame and bathroom shower doors were extremely hard to open and shut), but it was mostly clean (the shower floor was questionable) and quiet. Breakfast was nice and I was thankful for easy & close parking. The address on Hotels.com is wrong, I got lost getting there. Take the address……

“Menia and Theodore were exceptional hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily (bins emptied, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and beds made). They checked on us continually to make sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend and know where to book in future.”

“We had such a great time staying at Piazza Suites during our trip to Kefalonia. The location in Lixouri is perfect—right in the center, close to everything. You can walk to the square, grab food, or sit by the water in just a few minutes. The room was super clean, modern, and really comfortable. “Fabulous location and big pool. Another villa next door but well screened and you don't really notice they are there. Very clean, lovely wee touches like shower gels, shampoo etc. Has BBQ and very cute resident gecko who comes out on the wall every night to eat moths.”

“We loved our stay at Penelope Villas, the villa was very well kept, spacious, modern, well equipped and in a great location. With just 4 villas it was quiet, but literally a 5 minute drive from Sami main promenade with a great selection of restaurants and shops. The only issue was the air con wasn’t working properly but the owners were very quick to get it fixed. The grounds were well kept and spacious, the pool was perfect for cooling down and there were staff regularly cleaning the pool,……

“Property was great with great pool and breathtaking view. From the pool you can see Zante. However the air-conditioning needs a check. The unit in the kitchen was not blowing cold air at all and the bedroom one wasn't great either. Therefore a bit of a warm night. ”

He upgraded us to the nicest suite and is a wonderful host. The breakfast was made fresh and delivered to us each morning, it was delicious and full of Greek specialities.
