This updated 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom home is bright and spacious making the perfect retreat for escape or entertainment. Modern furnishings in a stylish yet soothing color palette make for a chic yet casual backdrop for your Palm Springs vacation. Enter the living room and you'll enjoy an open floor plan with beautiful new tile floor. With plenty of seating, everyone can enjoy an easy afternoon or perhaps an early cocktail hour before heading out to dinner. The living room flows seamlessly into the dining room so no one misses out on the action. The contemporary dining area features seating for 6 or up to 8 comfortably and is steps from the kitchen. The well-stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances has all the tools you'll need to make entertaining a snap. Downtown is just minutes away just in case you'd rather enjoy the city and sights of Palm Springs. This home offers great bedroom separation and sleeping arrangements. The primary bedroom, on one side of the house, is spacious and offers its own private, full bath with step-in shower. On the opposite side of the house, you'll find 2 guest rooms: one guest room offers a king bed while the other offers 2 twin beds. These twin beds can be converted to a king with prior notice to management. Just outside each of these bedroom doors is their guest bath. The backyard is fully decked with tons of entertaining space and plenty of covered seating, too. Outdoor dining is covered so you can maximize outdoor living both day and night. There are 4 chaise lounges to catch the rays you were seeking in Palm Springs. The outdoor kitchen will make grilling fun and the counter at the grill with bar-stool seating ensures you can bring cocktails and snacks to keep the grill master entertained. There's a half-bath/powder room on the patio for everyone's convenience. Named after the owners' charming Yorkie, PS Murphy is an ideal getaway: comfortable, uncomplicated and suited for every age! Dog-friendly, of course! Murphy wouldn't have it any other way. Please note that the maximum number of guests for a home this size is 6 (8 if the 2 additional guests are 12 years of age or younger). The owner(s) like to stress this home is ideal for a dream vacation and relaxation but is by no means a “party-central” home. Each guest is expected be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. Special events like weddings are NOT allowed. \- Per City ordinance, no music is allowed outside the (fully enclosed) home, at any time of day. \- Per City ordinance, we are required to have your ID on file. After booking, we will request a picture of the front of your ID. \- Per City ordinance, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent this home. \- Pool Heat is optional but available for $69/day; usually appropriate to heat the pool mid-October to late June. Bathrooms and kitchens were in great shape, but many of the furnishings are ready to be upgraded. The pool area and back yard were lovely and comfortable and the highlight of the house, with beautiful landscaping and lights at night. An easy 5-7 minute drive to downtown. The backyard is small but really well laid out with great amenities. It is quite close to the airport but we didn't really notice it after the first day. Very responsive property manager.Only complaint was that the floor and furniture outside was flifthy. We especially enjoyed hanging out in the backyard in the pool and hot tub. The house was nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and linens were of good quality and clean. We appreciated the high end BBQ and were so happy to have use of the outdoor heater the one night we dined alfresco. The location was very convenient to the highway but a little bit of a drive to all the restaurants and shops downtown. The living room set up was perfect for playing card games and working on our puzzle at night. Slept 6 adults comfortably, and we made ample use of the hot tub and pool. Very mellow neighborhood overall, if a little “far” from downtown Palm Springs. Great view of the mountain from the living room window. Clean and comfortable, with a small yet well-appointed kitchen. Thoughtful plastic wear to use by the pool, and the lounge area in the back with the space heater was charming. Hosts were very responsive to check in process and requests. The backyard was incredible. Landscaping, pool, and lighting made it very relaxing. Sitting outside at night and listening to the wind in the palm trees, combined with the lightning was definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip. No complaints about the house at all. Good location. Easy drive to downtown and activities. For the money we thought this was a good value. The house is in good shape and the kitchen is well supplied with everything you need for cooking. The best feature is the back yard area. Great pool and hot tub, good cooking area with a very nice gas grill and lots of outdoor furniture if you have guests as we did. Also, the property management company was the best we have seen in some time.
