My experience with me and my two kids were so horrible. “The Palacio hotel was a decent 3 star hotel. The rooms were simple, but functional. The staff was friendly and breakfasts were above average. Ask for a room that doesn’t face the street because it can get a bit noisy early in the morning. ”

“This is a beautiful little spot about a 20-minute walk from downtown Paramaribo. I also stayed downtown, and can surely say I much prefer being away from the noise and crowds of the city center. Villa Famiri is in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. You can also walk to downtown though it's not a nice walk (no sidewalks, lots of trash and standing water, lots of traffic). They have a lovely common area and pool so it's great for relaxing.
