“I really want to give our stay a 5 star review bc the place is beautiful with awesome pools and amenities however it is clear there is absolutely no one managing this place. The only staff present are a bartender and chef who comes in on the weekend. There was no one to help us check in and nothing was labeled to know where we were staying. Our cabin was really nice with great views. However, there were ants in our cabin’s bunk room that covered my clothes in the morning. The stairs leading……

“We absolutely loved this property! We came up for a wedding in the area thinking we would have more time to enjoy it. So we will definitely have to come back! Charles was amazing! He checked on us frequently making sure we didnt need anything. We finally had some free time Monday morning si he took us out on his boat and gave us a tour of the lake. We so enjoyed it. I cannot wait till we can come back!”

“Property seemed well cared for. It was located in very close to historic markers, grocery stores and downtown area. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen had what was needed for a short stay. The AC units worked well, but leaked forming puddles. Host provided personal number at check in for immediate contact of needed.”

“Mike and the property is fantastic, if you are a history fan this is a Mecca . If you have toddlers bring a gate . The down stairs is adult only because of fabulous relics,”

“This was such a darling and charming, turn of the century home. The updated areas were all well done while maintaining the historic features! The bedrooms and bathrooms are massive! We attended a wedding at the Crazy Water Hotel, and the home was about 2 blocks away. We were able to walk to the hotel and local shops very easily. Would highly recommend! The host was very quick to communicate as well, and very friendly! ”
