The front desk staff weren’t very welcoming. The hotel tax (€10 per day) had to be paid in cash—they don’t accept credit cards—and it was €5 just to borrow a beach towel. On the good side, the location was great—just a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was really tasty with lots to choose from, and the breakfast staff were warm and gracious. Our room was cleaned really well every day. They also helped us bring our luggage to our room The pool was tiny.

It's a beautiful hotel, a few kinks to iron out yet, however. Simple things like having more than a towel rack in the room, when you can also have plenty of wall hooks, shelves, etc. But the rooms are great, the staff is great, the food and drinks are terrific. The design is great.
