Just steps from the white-sand beaches in Panama City Beach, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental is perfect for a family Gulf getaway! The expansive beach house hosts 6 adults comfortably and boasts a nautically-themed decor, a private patio, balconies, beach and pool. Aptly named ‘Anchors Away Beach House’ this villa rests in an exclusive, centrally located community of ten 3-story townhomes and provides a luxurious retreat in the Sunshine State.
THE PROPERTY:

This ideally located, Southern Coastal decor villa invites you to bring your family, friends and pets for a pristine Florida getaway with easy beach access. Spend your mornings soaking up the sun at the pool and your afternoons cooking chargrilled feasts to enjoy on one of the 2 second-floor balconies.
‘Anchors Away’ features an open floor plan with 10-foot tall ceilings in each of its beach-themed bedrooms and common areas. Mornings are best spent sipping a warm cup of coffee on the third-story balcony while gazing out at the Gulf of America. After you’ve loaded up your beach wagons with chairs, prepare your group a hardy breakfast in the second-floor, fully equipped kitchen outfitted with a 4-burner electric range, clean white cabinetry, and sleek granite countertops. If you’re looking for extra space to cook, the first floor has an additional well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and 4-burner electric range.
When you return from your sun-filled day, unwind on the back patio with your favorite refreshments while watching the sun fade to early evening with your travel companions or sitting by the pool. Finish off the night by watching your favorite movies on the flat-screen cable TV in the living room or people watching on the second or third-floor balconies to enjoy a refreshing ocean breeze! Each balcony is covered to enjoy the Florida environment in any type weather.
Retreat to one of the 3 bedrooms as you start to get tired and relax on the cloud-like mattresses surrounded by cozy furnishings. Draw a soothing bubble bath in the upstairs en-suite bathroom tub if you’re looking for a bit more pampering before retiring for the night!
THE LOCATION:
Start your day by walking down to the Panama City Beach access to watch the sunrise. My family uses Beach Access #65 when staying at Anchors Away.
If you’re looking for some retail therapy during your stay, drive 6 minutes to reach Pier Park shopping mall. The mall boasts a variety of outlets where you will find anything from apparel, to beach supplies and fantastic restaurants.
For my pet parents, Frank Brown Park and Aaron Bessant Park is only 1.3 miles from the house. Each park offers a pet-friendly environment and offers 70 acres of open lawn space, picnic areas and lush foliage. The pet-friendly beach is located at the Pier Park beach only minutes from Anchors Away.
Explore one of the many delicious local eateries on the nights that you’re not dining at home. The Sandbar Seafood and BBQ is a short walk from the property and an excellent spot to have your favorite beverage or enjoy some of their delicious entrees, ranging from fresh oysters to award-winning barbecue.

’Anchors Away’ is a five-star-rated vacation rental and has been reviewed by independent travel agents for its location, beach access, amenities, size, cleanliness and affordability. Anchors Away is inspected after each guest departure to ensure it is ready and up to my expectations each time. I want all my guests to be treated with luxury and a worry-free vacation. The reviews have focused upon guests being treated like family and indicating that this is their new beach-home-away-from-home. Most of my new family return for seasonal retreats, vacations, romantic getaways, shopping weekends, concerts or sporting events.
THE ANCHORS AWAY PET POLICY:
My pet policy allows for a maximum of six pets (dogs only - no size limit). A $150.00 non-refundable fee allows me to ensure that my house is ready for my next friends and family’s arrival. The balconies are great for your pets to people watch but please do not leave them unattended if they are teacup size and adventurous. Do yourself a favor and do not leave home without your pet.
SEASONAL ACCOMMODATIONS:
Please contact me through a VRBO Inquiry if you would like to vacation at my house for 28 days or more. I will assist you with a reasonable rate through VRBO.

My husband and I have traveled extensively with our pets and found most hotels and houses sub-par. I want all my guests to experience the luxury, safety and cleanliness that we all are expecting when traveling. I also want to take the guess-work out of travel. My house is near beach access # 65 ( approximately 100 yards) which all my guests use to enter the beach. I want my guests to rest assured that they will have a dream house for their beach vacation.
