Let’s start with the negative aspects of the hotel are: 1) The room we stayed in was very small. Our luggage (one medium and one small suitcase and one backpack) had to stay shut during our stay, because there was no room to open it. 2) As the room was like a pigeon hole, there was not a single hook behind the entrance door or on the wall where you could hang your handbag or other small bags. 3) There was no mini fridge in the room as well, although there was enough space under the desk to fit one. The glass panel in the bathroom was so narrow it could not stop water coming out of the bath tub when you were having a shower. After someone had a shower, there was water everywhere inside the bathroom, it could cause people to slip onto the floor. The positive aspects of the hotel are: 1) Its location. It’s just a store’s throw away from the Gare du Nord and the Gare de L’Est. 2) The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

It was very clean, the staff were very nice, the beds are comfortable, there’s loads of restaurants around and shops it’s a very convenient area. It is a bit unsafe around the area especially if your a woman so that’s the only downside of paris, but it’s not the hotels fault :)

Quirky hotel just a few moments walk from Gare Du Nord. We arrived at 10am and we're very lucky that our room was already available for us. The room had everything in we needed, the beds were comfortable and it was quiet we had a super night's sleep.

Convenient location within 3 min walk from the Gare du Nord. Nice breakfast. Small room as you can expect from city center location. In general quite clean and comfortable. Staff spoke with unfriendly tone. Service attitude can be improved.

The location is probably the best seller for this property. As expected for the area the room size was a bit tight but it wasn’t too bad. Good menu for bfast. Some of the staff were quite friendly and helpful others especially one on night shift was kind of moody and was abrupt. Very close to train stations and a lot of food options near by!

I think it’s excellent for short stays. The hotel is very basic, but if you’re only using it as a base while you explore this area around Paris, then it’s sufficient. The room is tiny, but it’s clean. The bed was comfortable and they provide a kettle, but no fridge. The noise level wasn’t anything I would expect from a hotel that is right in the centre of things. It’s steps away from Gare du Nord so it’s so easy to get around from this area. There were lots of restaurants and fast food around so it’s convenient. I didn’t feel the area to be unsafe. The area is very busy so it actually felt safe even coming home from a concert after midnight.

The hotel is in a fantastic position for Gare du Nord so very convenient for the Eurostar, although this is not a very nice area of Paris. We did not have a very comfortable stay as our air conditioning unit didn’t seem to work (we were only staying one night so asking to move rooms at 11pm did not seem worth it). Additionally, the mattress is very hard and the pillows are really hard and do not have much depth. We asked for second pillows, however these are not available. Finally, whilst the towels and bedding seemed very clean we were put off on the cleanliness by some pastry flakes on the bathroom floor. The room smells as though it was probably a non-smoking room for many years. Overall still good value for money for the area and convenience, but we’d probably spend more in future for a better night’s sleep.
