The hotel is ok for 2 stars, very clean however the noise from outside its terrible. People party on the street and it really wakes you up. To be honest also walls are so thin you can hear conversations …. And everything in between to the room next door. We got terrible neighbours that kept us up all night with their night time activities. We could even feel the bed moving along with them!!! It was unbearable. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights!!!

The room is standard and clean. Notice that there is no access to a hairdryer. Breakfast "bufeet" is only access to some baguette, cheese, jam, croissant, coffee and hot water

Staff was amazing! The area is near a large bar/food district so lots of people outside on the street near by can cause a lot of noise late into the night especially on weekends.

Very small room, Bathroom very tiny. (Like airplane bathrooms) shower super small!! No coffee maker or tea kettle. Beds need new mattress. Location was nice close to metros and buses. Will not stay in this hotel unless you’re traveling by your self. (Hallway to the room super narrow.

Great location for Paris. Close to central Metro stations for access to the whole of Paris with ease. Room was fairly small, but perfectly clean and modern. Reception team were really friendly and helpful..even at 2am! Very lively location with bars that open into early hours. Recommeneded for a functional budget option.

Good Temperature in room and water
We stayed as 3 single women, so triple room. Met our needs. Quick walk to metro. A bit noisy on Sat. Night but settled down at reasonable time. Very close to market on Sunday. Safe in room is a plus. Bathroom was clean and fresh with good water pressure.

I wouldn’t stay again.
Very convenient location and very clean room. Beyond that I cannot recommend this hotel. It is in a small a very noisy street with clubs and bars open until time 2am. The room was very small and claustrophobic. The curtains didn’t close properly, so no black-out and no privacy. The air conditioning did not work (there was only a tiny wall heater). Being on the first floor the toilet waste pipe from all the rooms on the floors above passed through a cupboard about 1m from my head when in the bed, so combined with the noise from the street and the sunlight at dawn I had very poor sleep for 4 nights! To cap things off the hotel overcharged me for city tax on arrival (and I believe not in a mistaken way!) and I am still having to chase a refund through my bank. I won’t be staying again and I suggest you don’t either.

Hotel daval is a budget hotel in a trendy party area. It is clean inside - modern and rooms are reasonably sized. The staff actually helped my kids and I to the corner of the street when we needed to get a taxi. in the rain! It’s important to know this area of bastille is bustling so if u r in Paris to party this is a great place for a reasonable price. Safe and has nice eateries across the road. request a higher floor if you want an early night in.

Great budget hotel. Excellent location.
Clean and friendly hotel at an excellent location near the fun 11th arrondissement and Le Marais neighborhood. Room is small but spotless, and at an excellent price point for the neighborhood in the off season. Plenty of excellent patisseries and third wave coffee shops nearby, and a mix of funky and traditional eateries.
