The room is good, except that the closet was broken and there was a terrible smell coming from the toilet.

We were near tons of crepes places. I didn't realize for a few nights that we had a/c which was a huge plus!

Pros: Location
Cons: The whole experience would have been better had we been made more welcome on arrival, the rooms desperately require upgrading.
Location: The montparnasse tower is 5 minutes walk away and well worth a visit, the street the hotel is on has lots of nice creperies.
On arriving at the hotel we were informed our room was not ready and would not be made ready as there was no cleaning staff on duty, our room had been guaranteed for late arrival and it was only 5 pm. The receptionist on duty when we arrived was very rude and patronising stating he was a receptionist not a cleaner and gave us sheets to make our own beds, but said our room would be made ready the next day. The first room we were given was dirty and the air conditioning did not work. The next day we were advised to repack our bags and leave them in another room which was being worked on by electricians, the room was made ready for us by the time we came back that evening. The rest of the staff were pleasant and friendly, the rooms were small, in need of upgrading and not in keeping with the reception area. The shower door was broken, hairdryers in both rooms were held together with tape, a bedside light did not work and parts of the furniture were falling off leaving exposed nails. The rooms did not look anything like the photos nor did they meet the standards of a 3 star hotel.

Cons: that includes a breakfast
Location: metro was very near , one block. the bus that took us to the termini was infront of the hotel. and the location was in a good area.
At the begining was little difficult to found the hotel, but was in a near area. the metro acces was near, the staff at the hotel were very kindly. some of them talk spanish , english and french.

Great location, tiny, bare room

The hotel is in a great location! There are many Metro stops close by, with many different lines. A busy and safe location, 30 minute walk to Notre Dame and the main museums (Louvre, D'Orsay), and right next to the fashionable St Germain area. The street the hotel is on is famous for its creperies, and there are many creperies and restaurants to choose from. There are also bars on the same street. The staff are friendly. The room is tiny with only the bare minimum (looks nothing at all like in the photos, I don't know why they call it a 3 star hotel), but at least it has an A/C (which I've been told is a luxury). Breakfast is overpriced at 10 euros with little included, so with so many places around, go elsewhere. Take the Air France shuttle from CDG for 30 euros roundtrip; it stops close to the hotel (5-7 minute walk).

Rooms were sub par but location was great . my primary reason was to see Paris and close to the train station. If you're into room comfort, this is not for you but want some cheap and spend more seeing Paris then consider this.

Small hotel in the centre of Paris. Many resturants near by. Metro station only 5 minute walk. Rooms quite small but ok for its purpose. A little noisy at night times. (Banging and stomping upstairs). Rooms need tidying up a bit in areas with chips and cracks. It was what we expected for the money.
