This is a beautifully hotel, with rooms that are wonderfully unique and feel so Parisian. The staff are some of the best that I have encountered in any country and were there to help and advise throughout our stay (the free cocktails were a bonus). The location is perfect, a short walk from the station and right on the doorstep of Montmartre. This is now our place in Paris and we will be returning as soon as we are able.

Generally it was a good stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well located, easy to get around. It would have been nice to have better tea/coffee making facilities in the room and also better control of the room temperature. The room was very warm and the temperature only went down to 19 degrees.

Charming 'old school' hotel with a delightful rooftop bar affording views of nearby Sacre Coeur and across Paris to the Eiffel Tower. Helpful staff and a pretty good breakfast too. Easy to walk to local bars and restaurants, also the Metro is quite close (Pigalle or Anvers).

A Paris hotel with a rooftop view

A very nice hotel near a few famous churches, street and entertainment. Subway close by. Excellent rooftop bar with spectacular views…nice breakfast buffet. Very comfortable beds and room amenities

Very comfortable room. Accommodating and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Loved the rooftop bar with great views. (The attached nightclub a little noisy, but didn’t bother us.). We did have to take the subway to most of the sites, and got a little frustrated with that because of trouble using our credit cards in the ticket machines, which kept asking for a pin.). We enjoyed our stay very much!!!! Thank you!

All was good. Staff were very nice, property is old but well maintained and clean. Close to Moulin Rouge and Montmartre but lots of sex related shops around. Little far from tourists activities sight. But close to subway station and bus stop. Overall I had a good experience.

Great stay with easy access to the metro from Pigalle-station! Would love to have more fresh fresh fruits on the breakfast but the overall a nice and clean experience. The rooftop bar has som good views!

The hotel is in a fairly good location, close to Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur, with easy metro access to get into the city centre, though it’s a little further out. The room was spacious, clean, and had all the facilities needed. The interiors were stylish, but the room could use a refresh in places, as there were some patches of flaky paint and signs of damp. One drawback was the noise on Saturday night from the club opposite and the busy street, but this was only an issue for that night. Overall, a comfortable stay with good amenities and a convenient base for exploring the area.

Friendly staff- attentive and helpful Our room was not cleaned properly the second day- no clean glasses, coffee cups, towels,- dirty dishes left in the bathroom sink Some one did come up when we called but it was disappointing that we had to call for the service

Very much enjoyed our stay there! I liked the location of the hotel, near Montmartre, but not near the over crowded streets. The 9th floor bar with a great view is a plus! Employees were pleasant and helpful. Only complaint would be very limited menu at Maggie restaurant

I love Paris and especially Montmartre and Pigalle so it was great to stay at Hotel Rochechouart. Fabulous location with Pigalle, Anvers and Abesses metro stations close by for exploring further into Paris or just stay local and follow the footsteps of Amelie, Edith Piaf and Henry Miller. Wonderful and stylish rooms and a fantastic view from the cool roof top bar. I’ll definitely be back

Magical rooftop and easy location

We loved our stay. The hotel's team is so kind and friendly and the ambience is gorgeous. We hired Velib bikes from near the hotel and explored the city for three days and Montmartre is an easy walk. Amazing. Cute bars and restaurants south of the hotel away from the touristy area. A drink at the rooftop bar is a must!
