We stayed one night purely because the hotel is 12 minutes walk from La Gare du Nord for the Eurostar. We arrived late at night and left very early but the same reception staff member was on duty and very helpful. The hotel uses real keys! So no fumbling with cards, which is always stressful when exhausted..

Perfect for my short break in Paris. Friendly welcome on arrival, nice clean room, comfy bed, power points and usb, powerful shower and a decent enough continental breakfast. Positioned between two metro stations and with local shops and bars within walking distance; it was ideal for my needs.

Very good location for traveling around f the city - near the metro and some very good neighborhood restaurants, a pharmacie and a little grocery store. Veryyyy noisy at night with a lot of homeless fighting/ singing/ talking loudly outside our window until very early morning hours : when we left early they were sleeping on the sidewalk. Neighborhood felt very safe. Daily construction and street work started at 5:30 am. Looks like sewer pipe needed fixing - workers talking loudly and throwing heavy objects into the back of a truck. Tuesday at 4:30 am is apparently clean linen delivery by truck and was sooo loud - rolling out large metal carts into cobblestone and putting empties back in box truck and workers yelling to each other. Staff very nice with the exception of one man who was at reception and was annoyed and too busy for questions. Breakfast not until 7:30 am which is hard when you want to get out and get touring. Good breakfast, clean, comfortable bed and in room hot pot and coffee supplied. Would try a different spot next time.

The room was very clean, however, there was an overpowering stench of the drains which meant the room smelt musty. We slept comfortably and with the windows shut didn’t notice much noise outdoors. Although no aircon, the windows on the 4th floor opened wide and a fan was provided in the room making for a comfortable stay during the summer heatwave. The building is a little dated, but it was mostly well-maintained and clean. Was also handy to leave luggage during our first and last day when we didn’t have access to our room. The location and value was the key selling point for us.
