Hotel & Room were AMAZING! Beautiful ambiance, unique layouts of the room, and staff were extremely attentive & accommodating. Will definitely be staying again!
The rooms are rather large for Paris with new linens and modern bathrooms. Housekeeping is a bit slow...when we would return around 1pm our rooms often hadn't been serviced. Breakfast was good and the location is centrally located.
We have found our home away from home for our Paris visits. Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera is all one could wish for. Comfort. Cleanliness. Service. Helpful. Convenient. Shopping is nearby if you need it. Excellent access to all forms of transportation. The on property dining is great. We mostly did breakfast (great!!!) and Sunday tea (also outstanding). Evening dining is available but we had plans elsewhere for this visit. Next visit we will better sample the evening dining at Le Scribe. Our suite was spacious and included a walk-in shower as well as a bathtub. Plenty of room to unpack so we were not living out of our suitcases. I cannot stress enough how helpful the staff was. All were ready and willing to answer any of our questions and accommodate our needs. The concierge service should help nearly any traveler enjoy Paris. Basically, stay here. You will not be disappointed.
Didn’t know the area at all. As soon as I got there the staff was beyond helpful and soo nice. They upgraded my room at no extra cost and made sure I was comfortable. It was clean, in a super convenient-nice area. It felt safe and everything was walking distance for the most part. Thank you for making my trip memorable.
Great hotel walking distance from a lot of shopping places, museums, bars/restaurants, things to see../
Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Great bar and dining experience.
Will definitely stay there again!
Great hotel with excellent service. The lobby is small but welcoming and the bar at the lobby is nice. The location is great and the rooms are comfortable and in great condition. I'd highly recommend it.
Surprised how well maintained the rooms and elevators are. Small rooms, at least the one I had, but the rooms are very well thought out and nice room decor. Excellent location.
Generally a good property. Excellent staff such as Anaise she was fantastic and others at the front desk and dining rooms. Cleaning staff was very good as well. The property is a bit dated and rooms a bit small.
Superb customer care- nothing was too much trouble. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel super clean, and the beds were just something else. This will be my hotel if choice whenever I come to Paris.
We prepaid 10 days at the hotel (no refund option). We thought a 5 star by the opera house would be a great home base. The hotel had a boutique lobby feel. We booked a larger room with a view. The room they put us in was a nice layout with a private walk in closet, separate large toilet rm and separate rm with sink and tub. It was on the 6th flr where we had a street view with the statue of Napolean at Vendome. The breakfast was up to par of a 5 star. The staff were friendly. Small gym. Now the issue. Given it is a old building centered by the opera house, there are lots of train lines moving underground. We can feel it and hear it on the 6th floor. Though it is not like you're on the platform, but when a metro passes underneath, it breaks the calm silence of your room with a low rumble sound/feel that can last 5-10 secs at least 2-4 times every 10 minutes. The metro runs as early at 5:30am-ish and ends 1:30am-ish. So if you're a sensitive person, be warned. I felt this low rumble the first night we stayed at the hotel. Didn't realize it until we were all unpacked and ready for bed. It bothered me enough to ask for a different room early morning next day. Being in a prime location, the hotel was completely booked. Staff offered a different room in the same category (not an upgrade) 3 days later. The room was smaller and had the same low rumble noise/feel, so not worth changing. 5 days into our stay, we stayed outside our room longer & were able to tune most of it out.
