“What an absolute treat! This property is located at a wine vineyard with tons of history of the Calheiros family! We enjoyed walking the vineyard and a tour of the original family home of the Count of Calheiros! Truly a spectacular experience!”

“Lovely, quirky property. Great food and service. Spa was wonderful. Rooms a bit small but very comfortable. Pictures of bathtubs are limited to some Rooms so disappoint to have a view or tub. Outdoor cocktail area was charming as was the decoration. Great place overall. ”

“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde. The local town of Ponte……

“Our host made our stay special by giving us the history of the finca. The wine and cheese plate paired well. ”

“Staff were helpful in arranging a taxi to take us to a hike. Bikes were available for rent and we biked along the Lima River. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good and bacon and eggs were cooked as we wanted. Grocery store and several nice restaurants close by.”

“Bien que notre première impression fut plutôt negative, au vu du peu d 'amabilité du patron à l'accueil, ainsi que d' une employée qui était là et ne nous a même pas dit bonjour, nous sommes passés outre et avons passé un bon sejour d une nuit.La patronne, qui parle anglais, a été très sympathique et comme nous avions pris la demie pension , nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant le soir et au petit-déjeuner avec une magnifique vue sur le paysage environnant. Chambre propre avec belle vue”
