This stay was a highlight of our journey to Sardinia. Marie Rosa and her husband are delightful hosts who will do whatever is necessary to make your stay memorable. Breakfast is excellent. Evening meals are In the Sardinian tradition and among the best we are in our three weeks in Sardinia.

A wonderful property and experience. The room was impeccable in all ways: clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The host, Rosa and her husband, were affable and treated us as friends. The village is small and quiet, and close to important archeological sites. As charming as this property is, when the murals in the courtyard are finished, it will be even more enthralling. We had a delicious dinner in a cozy dining room. Definitely recommend. Also, great for families.

Maria Rosa and her husband went out of their way to make us feel at home. They cooked us the best meal we had in Sardinia, Maybe in Italy! So kind caring and genuine. Lget them host you and make you dinner. Great place to drive to if you want a break from cities! Our stay with them was the highlight of our 4 week vacation in Europe!

A little gem

We only stayed a Locanda La Rosa for one night. We used it as an overnight stay before flying home from Cagliari the following morning. The property is well located for visiting the Barumini nuraghes. Parking was on the street but wasn't a problem as Pauli Arberei is a very small rural village. The highlight of Locanda La Rosa is really the hosts themselves. Fabiano and Maria Rosa were such lovely people who really seemed to sincerely enjoy looking after us. Although we had some language problems (resolved with a translation app) we had some good humoured discussions over dinner, discovering oneanothers interests and life histories. We were genuinely sad to leave.

Best B&B we ever visited

This is an absolute must visit. Best B&B we ever been to (and we tried a few). Don’t miss out on their restaurant, the food is amazing. Both us and our kids (4 and 1,5) loved this and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful hosts

Really amazing hospitality by Maria Rosa and Fabiano. We had a lovely, comfortable and impeccably clean room with good air conditioning. Also the dinner we had there was the most delicious one, the best food we had in Sardinia. Highly recommended!

Nous avons eu un véritable coup de cœur pour la Locanda Rosa. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme en visite chez de la famille. Piccola locanda molto graziosa, in un piccolo paese della Marmilla (zona della Sardegna), realizzata in uno splendido recupero di una casa campidanese. I proprietari e gestori della locanda e del ristorante, sono persone molto ospitali e cordiali. Stanze accoglienti, ben pulite e molto silenziose. Facilmente raggiungibile e vicino a molti luoghi di interesse archeologico nuragico.

Uma surpresa agradável

Fomos muito bem recebidos na Locanda. O casal proprietário fez de tudo para nos agradar e acolher após uma longa viagem com as crianças. O quarto era muito espaçoso e na área de lazer tinha uma pequena piscina onde as crianças puderam brincar. Ficamos apenas uma noite, mas para quem deseja explorar a região, a localização é muito favorável

Super accueil par les hôtes Maria-Rosa et Fabiano

Une vraie auberge avec des aubergistes adorables qui nous ont accueilli comme des amis. Nous avons eu un réel échange avec Maria-Rosa et fabiano malgré la barrière de la langue que nous avons surmonté avec google trad, un peu d'espagnol et d'anglais mélangés, le tout dans une ambiance de bonne humeur comme on en trouve peu ! Merci à Maria et Fabiano.

Great stay

We only stayed one night with another couple planning to go to the su Nuraxi archeological site the next day. We were greeted with great hospitality and a home made dinner! Their own wine and olive oil, antipasti from their garden and locally sourced meats. Breakfast included home made "dolci". But most important the friendly conversations and music! And those old stone stairs leading up to the rooms....

Grande accoglienza

Grande accoglienza da parte dei proprietari. La locanda è un piacevole edificio storico ristrutturato. Il ristorante interno (abbiamo provato solo la pizza: buona!) è comodo per non dover andare in giro a cercare da mangiare dopo una giornata di escursioni e visite. Ottimo per Barumini e Giara di Gesturi. Consigliato!

Genuina ospitalità sarda.

Tour della Sardegna sud-occidentale. Abbiamo fatto tappa in questa Locanda, sita in un piccolo centro storico a pochi chilometri dai complessi nuragici di Barumini e di Villanovafranca, e dall'area naturalistica e archeologica di Giara di Siddi. Lo stile è rustico e confortevole. Un grazie particolare a Maria Rosa e a suo marito, che ci hanno preparato un'ottima cena. Il parcheggio è libero nelle immediate vicinanze.
