“Our stay at Pavones Point was perfect! The location is right at the top point of Pavones surf break. Walk right across the road and paddle out…or walk a little down to the right for a bit less intense wave. The condo was clean and spacious…had everything we needed. Clean towels, comfortable beds, coffee maker, toaster, blender. No salt or pepper and no trays if you plan on making bacon or roasting anything. And no full length mirrors but the location makes up for that!”

“Surfhouse pavones is located steps from the beach allowing several surf sessions a day. There is a cafe restaurant next door with unreal smoothies. A little market right up the street has it all. The rooms at the surfhouse were clean and the kitchen has everything including a view of pavones. A lot of woodwork and art at the surfhouse and plenty of room for surfboards. The owner is laid back, accommodating and knowledgeable to make the experience unforgettable.”

The meals were healthy, delicious, and varied - prepared by cheerful and skilled cooks in the onsite kitchen, and served in a comfortable and nicely decorated dining hall overlooking the grounds and forest. I highly recommend booking a tour of the grounds to learn more about the history of the garden and the habitat conservation efforts underway in the area. “Luxury in the heart of nature. Botanika is a beautiful Hilton Curio property located opposite the airport (not a problem) on the edge of a lovely piece of jungle property on the edge of the bay. To be clear the bay is a bit of a walk from the property but there are nature walking trails. Pros: Modern, clean rooms; thoughtful staff & housekeeping); excellent restaurant and bar at pool; and a fantastic pool/Jacuzzi they have bulk sunscreen (great idea). “Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late……

“Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge ”

“酒店位置不错，服务也还可以的，早餐的给一张MENU五个OPTION让选择。WIFI还可以。缺点是，房间的一面窗户可以直接看到大堂，当然了，要是不拉窗帘，大堂也会看到屋子里。有点奇怪。再就是有些客人打台球很晚，我们在房间里面就会听到打台球的声音，休息不好。”
