"We stayed 2 weeks at this property and despite poor weather enjoyed it very much. The gite is excellent, very comfortable and well equipped. The owners live on site and were excellent hosts. Madame Noirot was extremely helpful in suggesting where we might visit and thanks to her advice we saw far more of the country side than we would otherwise. Their hospitality was exceptional and much appreciated."

La maison est très spacieuse ainsi que le jardin. Le problème principal c’est que j’avais cru louer une villa avec piscine ‘privée’ et donc j’étais prête à payer le prix. "We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"The villa was tastefully decorated and you instantly felt you underpaid!! It was clean spacious and air-conditioned. The en-suites were a good size and the security was second to none. The hosts were kind and always pleased to help and nothing was too much trouble. The garden was great and all-in-all a pleasant oasis. The location was well situated and a comfortable drive from many amenities. Saphire is a great pleasure but don’t feed him cheese! Great property"
