My go to place when I need to stay overnight in the area. Much better than staying at a hotel chain. This is an authentic English pub at its best. Had a great chat with the locals over a pint who are friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I would recommend thoroughly.

Outstanding hotel. We had a superb experience from start to finish. - Lovely clean, warm and cared for hotel. - Scenic location. - Amazing food; both dinner and breakfast were lovely. - Kind and attentive staff. - Comfy bed and decent shower. It's rare to see such quality but these guys nailed it. Don't consider anywhere else, this is a fantastic place to stay.

My friend and I had a lovely stay. Room was spotless. Bed was so comfy, shower huge. Used the spa facilities, which again was very nice, not too busy, only negative was would have liked robes in the room. It would have been good if the bar stayed open afer 12 though as would have enjoyed a quiet night cap after christmas party. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast in the morning was good, nice selection.
