The rooms are very comfortable. I like that there are only \~10 villas on site. Lovely breakfast served on the balcony each morning. Friendly staff. The only problem was that there was a lot of plastic and rubbish burn-off every day happening next door. This is not the hotels fault. O hotel possui lavanderia, que cobra por peso, mas quando lavamos 7 peças de roupa, eles cobraram por 4kg. O café da manhã é ruim. Em relação aos passeios, o hotel oferece um pacote para o lado leste e outro para o lado oeste, e considera 8 horas de passeio para cada pacote - o que é totalmente desnecessário, já que é possível visitar ambos lados em um mesmo dia - aparentemente é um jeito de cobrar mais de turistas. Os pontos turísticos são bonitos, porém sem infraestrutura e muitos dos pontos turísticos são no mesmo lugar, então eles vendem um pacote de 4 pontos turísticos mas 2 ou 3 são a mesma coisa. Os motoristas também podem indicar restaurantes ruins onde eles aparentemente ganham algo em troca disso. O hotel também oferece transporte de barco para Bali, mas o motorista deixa você há 500 metros do porto e é necessário andar com a mala em um trajeto de areia e sol (sendo que é possível ir de carro até o porto). The staff are very friendly and helpful. They picked us up and dropped us off at the port, and we were able to rent a scooter, book a tour and organize a snorkel trip directly at the cottages! Perfect Nusa Penida Choice Hosted by the wonderful Piping, simply an exceptional choice. Rooms are clever, practical, spotless, and very comfortable. The best outdoor bathroom we have seen in Bali. Lovely pool space. Order a beer via reception. Piping can organise full day trips for you to see the highlights. Pick up from the port. Breakfast brought to your room to eat on the balcony. All of the staff and drivers are excellent and super friendly. Auch das Außenbad war perfekt, da es trotzdem teilweise Überdacht ist. Stayed here for 3 nights/4 days during our time on Nusa Penida. Though they didn't reply to any of my messages via Hotels.com, once I messaged Kompyang on Whatsapp, they replied very quickly to answer my questions about pick-up service from the harbor, motor bike rental, and snorkeling activities, all of which I did through them. Once we arrived from the fast boat in Toya Pakeh, the driver was there waiting for us and took us to the cottage. Kompyang Cottage is very conveniently located on the island for people who wish to travel to both the west and east. To either the west (Crystal Bay, Kelingkeling, etc.) or east (Diamond Beach, etc.), it was about 40-60 minutes on the motor bike. There's a proper petrol station and a few mini marts nearby, as well as some nice ocean-facing cafes/restaurants like Secret Penida, Penida Colada, and Coco Penida, the first two which we went to and enjoyed. The compound is lushly vegetated with a nice pool to jump in after a long day out, and the individual villas are spacious and clean. The AC is great, the hot water has no issues, and they provide drinking water each day. The service is also lovely and all of the staff we spoke with were very helpful. The whole experience was great and if I had to nitpick on something, it would be 1) the rainshower in the room is a bit hard to use with the position of the shower in relation to the stone you step on, and 2) the TV didn't have much channels outside of Indonesian channels. We ended up booking another night, staying longer than we planned. The place looks exactly like the photos. Really cute and clean, nice decor, and nicely laid out. Breakfast is amazing (served in room or floating!). The pool and surrounding area is so nice as well. We spent our days out exploring the beaches, so coming back here every evening was a great way to relax. There are many places to walk to for dinner, drinks, etc. Super laid back, quaint area. We enjoyed walking through the streets at night. Service and front desk were all so helpful and friendly. Not one complaint at all. I am really picky with rooms and cleanliness, and was really impressed. Not to mention, very affordable! If Bali was closer I would be here all the time!
