This gorgeous old house has been restored with beautiful furnishings that complement the breathtaking views from our bedroom and other of the rooms. Our bedroom was very, very comfortable with the minor exception that the bed is a double bed, a little too cozy for a couple accustomed to a king size bed. The hotel is quaint and very friendly. It is especially dog friendly which many guests appreciated. Our room was large and comfortable with its own bathroom. Michelle our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. I had lamb shanks for dinner which was a huge serving and very delicious. My husband had the muscles and was left with enough room to finish my large serving. A walk through the lovely gardens ended our evening perfectly. The road up is narrow and not for the faint of heart.
