"This place is overpriced and not well maintained. The outdoor pool is dirty. The indoor amenities are also not cleaned regularly. The kids playroom had food and ants all over for over a day. Staff is rude and make judgmental comments ( why are you drinking coffee before workout? Coffee makes you dehydrated. You are clearly not a real sport man!- actual comment made by the staff). Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Perenye?
The best area to stay in Perenye is the central village area, particularly around Kossuth Lajos utca, which is the main street.

This area provides convenient access to the village's limited amenities and offers a pleasant, relaxed base for exploring the surrounding Vas County. The houses are typically traditional Hungarian style, and the general layout is rural and spread out.

For travelers seeking a quiet and authentic Hungarian village experience, staying directly in Perenye is ideal. It offers a glimpse into local life, with opportunities for walks in the countryside and enjoying the peaceful environment.
When is the best time to go to Perenye?
The best time to go to Perenye is during the late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is pleasant and the natural surroundings are at their most appealing.

During late spring, the countryside around Perenye is lush and green, with wildflowers in bloom, and the temperatures are comfortably mild, typically ranging from 60°F to 75°F (15°C to 24°C). This period is ideal for couples and solo travelers who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the scenic landscapes of Vas County without the heat of mid-summer.

Early autumn brings cooler, crisp air and often clear skies, with temperatures generally between 55°F and 70°F (13°C to 21°C). The foliage transforms into beautiful shades of red and gold, making it a picturesque time for leisurely drives or vineyard visits.
