This is a 6/10 at best.The host was pleasant and responsive to messages. But the property itself has many issues that made it difficult to fully enjoy.The outside and inside are very dated. This does not show in the pictures. If you're looking for a cozy, updated, welcoming place to stay, unfortunately, this is not it.The property was not very clean. The second bathroom was especially dirty. The cupboards in that room haven't been cleaned in years.There was a musty smell throughout, which is why they leave Febreeze in most of the rooms.The most surprising issue was the stale food left for us. All of the food left in a gift basket for us (chips, popcorn, crackers, soft drinks) were all expired. There were also two containers of coffee in the kitchen cupboard that were both nearly two years past their expiration date. We couldn't have asked for a better host! Everything we needed was provided - shampoo and body wash, towels, bedding, kitchen dishes, dish soap, and even water bottles and snacks on our arrival. Furniture is comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and close to lots of restaurants. Main Event is less than 5 minutes away. It was located in a great quiet neighborhood and close to everthing we needed. It was only a few blocks from our familys home so we could ask for anything better.
