"Beautiful little cottage! We absolutely loved the decor and the historic artifacts with accompanying literature! Fav part by far is the bunkbeds and LED lighting with historic copies of newspaper articles. Very close to town! We would definitely return!"

I almost hate to give this place a good review because I don’t want the secret to get out and become popular, but it would be a disservice not to. We came down for 2 nights for a concert in Pikeville, KY and to do some hiking nearby. The motel was an older building that is still being renovated, but is beautifully redone and well kept. The room was large and clean, the staff were so nice. The value for the price was amazing! We arrived early and they even let us check in 30 minutes early! ...

My husband and I stayed two nights and checked out with a positive feeling about the hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Imagine our surprise to be offered fresh baked cookies on checking in! The hot breakfast was also a surprise as it included a full breakfast rather than the usual cold offerings of cereal, bagels and muffins. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.
