The proximity to the turnpike was great. Upon checking in we were greeted by the receptionist. We needed ice and the ice bucket lid was nasty looking. Once we turned the bathroom light on it sounded like someone was stuck in the vent. Apparently the motor needs to warm up. The vent did show cobwebs and such. Other than that the place was clean and our room was on the back side away from traffic. The breakfast was lacking as the pictures on the wall displayed a nice waffle. However there were no waffles to be found. Not sure what the purpose of the toaster was. They had cereal but the canister of 2% milk was empty. The entry notification went off and we pressed the buzzer on the counter. After 30 minutes and no show from the staff we did leave. I did fill out the red card to indicate the things I thought needed more attention. Dinner was nice at the Park n eat with a 10% discount.

This is an old property that need some updates. Great staff. Very friendly, we have stayed here multiple times because it is close to our son’s home. It is surface clean but needs some deep cleaning. Rooms need to be updated and the breakfast is not worth even going to. Overall it is doing the best it can.

Parking lot was not plowed or salted making it difficult to pull into the Parking lot and very unsafe leaving as you had to go down the hill and would slide into traffic. Property Still advertising full breakfast , but still using the excuse of "Covid" and only offering a grab and go breakfast, Rooms were clean however they were so cold upon check in that it took hours to heat up , if you know a room is rented for the night the heat should be on especially when it I s 5 degrees out.
