Playa d'en Bossa
With the longest beach on Ibiza, lots of activities on the water and a pulsating nightlife, Playa d'en Bossa attracts party crowds, families, couples and singles. The seaside escape is located on the south coast of Ibiza and is flanked by hotels, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Relax in a beach bar with a cocktail, zip through the water on a Jet Ski, work on your tan and party until the sun comes up.
The 1.2-mile-long (2-kilometer) beach offers plenty of places to sunbathe and relax. Rent a sunbed and umbrella or find your own spot on the sand. When you are feeling thirsty, make your way to a beach bar for a drink. Stroll along the shoreline and enjoy the views across the Mediterranean Sea. Get a change of shoreline scenery at other nearby beaches of Figuretas, Talamanca and Es Cavallet, all within a 3-mile (5-kilometer) walk, bike ride or drive.
For more than rest and relaxation, go for a swim and enjoy watersport activities such as standup paddleboarding, Jet Skiing and kitesurfing. The nearby Aguamar Water Park offers even more aquatic fun. Enjoy its exciting water chutes, the children and infant pool, water slides, smaller rides for children and grassy areas to relax on.
Playa d'en Bossa has seen development of several super-clubs that have contributed to Ibiza's reputation as a party island. Dance the night away in such well-known clubbing hotspots as Pacha, Space and Ushuaïa. Some of the most famous DJs in the world have taken to the decks of the beach resort’s clubs, including Boy George and Mark Ronson.
Reach Playa d'en Bossa by flying into Ibiza Airport, about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) away. Continue your journey by bus, rental car or taxi. The resort is within easy reach of Ibiza Town, the island’s largest city, which is home to an old quarter of ancient buildings and battlements.
