“This is a great property and Juan, our host while on site, served us great breakfasts and was extremely polite and accommodating with any needs or desires. I love this property and will be staying there again and as often as possible. There is some construction on both sides of the hotel that might bother some, but it just wasn’t an issue for us. We were out exploring, beaching, and surfing during the day. Rooms, parking, and proximity to town were fantastic! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalows during our honeymoon! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, all while being in a great area to walk anywhere in Tamarindo. We felt well taken care of by the staff and really felt like it was our only little world away from the chaos. We even got a special little message in our bungalow for our honeymoon which was such a nice personal touch. We had wonderful neighbours while staying. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully with our friends……

“Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! “This place is conveniently located in the heart of the city. it is on the beach side but does not have beach view from the room. The toilet and shower are open to the room, yet they do have a private door or curtain for privacy while using. As you can see from photos, the wall for the shower has a curtain and the wall for toilet has a door. Must NOT flush toilet paper in the toilet as most of the hotels in Tamarindo.
