"Beautiful house with plenty of room for our 2 families. Each room has it's own bathroom (2 kings with en suite, 2 additional bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms in the hallway, and the casita has a bathroom as well that doubles as the pool bath). The kids had a blast in the pool, on the soccer field and with the ping pong table. The husbands loved the cold plunge and sauna. We rented golf carts to access the close by beaches but our favorite was Playa Negra, a short drive away. Highly recommend! "

"What a magical spot nestled in Playa Avellanas! We loved our time at Cabinas Las Olas - the rooms are great - clean and super comfortable. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and we loved the rustic boardwalk which led to the most stunning beach. The food was absolutely delicious and everything felt super safe and clean. Ryan was incredible - so kind and generous and there to answer all our questions! There are fun games (darts, ping pong, etc) to play by the restaurant and we rented a surfboard and had the best day at the beach! Highly recommend and would stay here again :) "

"Our room was super clean. The grounds were lush and jungle like. True rainforest vibes. The staff were so helpful. They arranged our taxi from the airport and a massage by the pool. The breakfast at their restaurant was beyond explanation. It was so different yet phenomenal. Great spot. "

"Yes, very clean they organized and cleaned our room multiple times a day. They could’ve had more restaurants open. Some music down at the pool would’ve been nice. Apparently we went during their lowest season and it was only about 5 to 10% occupied so it was pretty quiet. There was a minor construction that disrupted our afternoon one day with some very loud pressure washers. It’d be nice if they had a club with music and dance floor . but they did upgrade us when we got there to a better room with an ocean view. I was very appreciated of that."

"Great stay in hacienda Pinillas House was phenomenal - nicer than we expected3 rooms upstairs with bathrooms Wrap around upper deck with chaise lounge, table and chairs and a hammockFirst floor with kitchen with spices Staff waiting when we arrived with fresh cut fruit They were very responsive to any questions or recommendations before and during our trip on WhatsApp Downstairs outside with table , couch and Weber charcoal grillHad W/D 4 beach chairs- although need to be replacedFiltered waterShowers with shampoo /soap etcShared pool was great - open till 10 and rarely were in there with othersA 5 min walk to beach for sunsets - could not swim at that beachTook approx 10-15 min to drive out of property If have car do not need to rent a golf cartCan rent tennis and pickleball courts and racquets- near golf courseWe went to pinilla beach club one day- 5/day - nice pool and massages there food mid- drinks good but expensiveWe tried to go to JW Marriott pool but they were fully occupiedGreat beach/surfing and food in smaller Avellenas which is 15 minDriving to busier Tamarindo was 30 minWe also drove to playa conchal and Flamingo about 45-50 minRoads going into resort not greatWe saw tons of wildlife- howler monkeys in trees next to house, birds , armadillo, crocodile, iguanas, geckos and coyote Great stay for families "

"Great House, has everything, 10 min walk to Avellana Beach, The property is only 5 houses, so you are in your private secluded area, the house has 3 room with AC split system, well equipped, Dennis was always there for any question, there is a tree in the back of the house that always have several monkeys jumping or relaxing. Avellana town its a really quiet town, will be back thanks again for this wonderful place"

"This property was fantastic and we absolutely loved our stay here! It was only a 10 minute walk or so to the beach which was stunning. It was homey, clean, secure, filled with wildlife, and let me just say I think I may have taken the best naps of my life on those hammocks. Ben was a fantastic host and even provided private surfing lessons for our kiddos which they absolutely adored. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! "
