Check-in is very fast, and there is a restaurant that open late till 08:00 PM, it is very convenience. The room is clean but our room (no: 5), the standing light was not working, could not turn on the light. During the night with strong wind, I heard constant knocking on the wall. I had no idea the source of the sound, maybe a tree branch that knocking the wall, or something loose. I checked the windows and door were securely closed. This sound made me could not have a good sleep the whole night.

Lovely little motel in the mountains, perfect place to crash after a long day on the Cabot trail and an afternoon whale watching ! Local Rusty anchor restaurant is a great stop highly recommend the burger that ate cape breton!

Wonderful place!!! The staff were helpful and friendly the room was great and clean. The restaurant was excellent the food both breakfast and supper not one thing to complain about. Great place after a long drive.

Excellent for no frills hiking trip. Restaurant on site is very reasonably priced. The most gorgeous spot for a sunset is only a 20 minute walk away!

Only one aspect would have made our visit better was if they had prepared our room by turning on the air conditioning and closing the curtains to the sun before we checked in. We found the room exceptionally hot and it took several hours to cool it down. We visited during the heat dome so a hot room was unusual for this area.
