“The location and resort is absolutely breathtaking! However our experience was not. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for dinner and later found out the chef left and they were closing the restaurant for the rest of the year. We booked this location as our first stop in Italy after traveling from the USA to fight off jet lag and specifically picked this place for an agritourismo experience. “In a very quiet passageway very close to the old centre. A short walk to the station. The people in the town very friendly. Lacked an iron, board or dryer. Comfortable large bed. Highly recommended. Not so EXPEDIA who formerly advised us the room was available 2 hours before it should have been and the host had to scramble cleaners to get the room ready early. Well done to the host.
