“Went to shoot a ATA trapshooting event (Heartland Grand) about 20 min away in Ackley, IA. Place was comfortable and the people were great. Everything you needed was right around the corner from getting provisions to dinner out with multiple choices, fast food to a sit-down home cooked meal. Room had a little kitchette with a fridge, sink and a 2 burner stove top, along with a microwave, so cooking some eggs and bacon wasn't out of the question! “The age and history of this cabin is part of the charm! The landings to sit and relax by the water was wonderful. tWe truly enjoyed watching he deer and birds every morning and evening.The only thing missing in this cabin is a dishwasher otherwise it is perfect! We definitely recommend this cabin to stay in.”
