Walls still stained yellow from when it used to be smoking and smell still lingered. Carpet was gross, stains on bed, not very clean facility at all. Felt bad to ask for a refund because they probably need the money. Much nicer than other hotels in the area. The weather was cold and the room temp had been turned down so the room was a little chilly. We sure could have used some extra blankets or a good electric heater. The room has a mini split heat pump. So I had to get a new room and they only wanted to do a 10% discount I thought that was not fair .So I asked for the difference in room to be refunded to me. Also there was still open drinks in the fridge in my room. It was not cleaned properly. Ive never really had a problem with this hotel I've stayed there a few times. I had a rude front desk person. The second person was really nice working along side of her. It was just me and my two children, but I had a lot to carry in because it was my daughter's birthday. Kids are 5 and 6 btw. I didn't get one offer for someone to help me. I mentioned that at the front desk. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night and had been able to enjoy the sauna, pool and fitness room. Thin walls: could hear the couple in the next room moaning and sighing several times through the night. Awoke me.. "Hot" breakfast was cold. No elevator. This should be mentioned on the website.
