Although unlucky with heat wave we enjoyed thestay

We were unfortunate to visit Finland in an uncommon heat wave, which the hotel (and most finnish hotels as well) was not prepared to. We were resourceful and opened the big window which people usually only open to clean and that way we had tons of chilled air during the night. besides that, breakfast was simple yet tasty, generous and enough to satisfy your needs. the staff was helpful and friendly. the atmosphere is quiet and the view to the lake was astonishing! The hotel is kept, and rooms are well furnished. Thanks for the lovely stay. hope to visit again in better weather!

Miellyttävä perhehotelli luonnonläheisellä paikalla ja lähellä Posion palveluita. Vanha rakennus on uudistettu taidolla, huoneemme oli tilava ja viihtyisä. Palvelu erinomaista. Teimme retkiä lähialueiden upeisiin kansallispuustoihin ja Lapin Satu -hotelli toimi erinomaisena tukikohtana matkallamme.

True gem in the middle of nowhere

A small hotel renovated in old school building. The room was very space, beautifully decorated and you could see a lake from big window. Big and stylish bathroom. Very friendly staff.

Rauhaa ja hyvää ruokaa Posiolla

Lapin Satu on rauhallinen ja vasta uusittu majapaikka Posion kirkkoa vastapäätä. Keskeisestä sijainnista huolimatta ympäristö on hyvin rauhallinen ja Lapin Satu on erinomainen tukikohta esimerkiksi luontovaelluksille.
