After reading all the reviews of this hotel, I was expecting to be very impressed. Some of the issues I encountered may very well be due to my booking in low season, however you should be aware:
+ Overall the service is excellent. The receptionists were friendly and more than willing to help.
+ The quality of the hotel structure isn’t great. In my room I could hear everything above me and to either side. Flushing toilets, conversations, showers turning on/off, etc.. The walls are quite thin, and this made sleeping impossible.
+ Speaking of sleeping, the bed was the most uncomfortable of my entire trip. Rock hard and the pillows I think were just the cases with no stuffing inside. This, combined with the noise surrounding the room, led to my worst sleep of the entire holiday.
+ As other reviews state, the terrace is incredible - and one of the benefits should be enjoying your breakfast there which is delivered to the room. I received my breakfast, a basket of hard bread rolls and frozen ham and cheese - that’s right - frozen meat stuck to the plate and ice still on the cheese - and an okay cappuccino. I was very disappointed in this, as after the sleepless night I had I was hoping this would at least make up for it.
+ There was also a storm the night of my stay and the power was flickering off and on for about an hour. Not once during my stay did I receive WI-FI signal in my room, which they attributed to the weather.
+ Note; they do not have any clothing irons
