The hotel is very traditional, which is what we wanted. Our room was on the top floor, was very spacious and clean with good amenities and lovely views. It is very close to the Prague castle and nice restaurants. Good variety of food at breakfast and the food was very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel. We booked a family room, but it felt more like a two-room apartment with a hallway in between. It was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with interesting details. The breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Golden Star, just 60 meters away—and it was very good. First, it is in the most perfect area near the castle and in the heart of all things Old Town. Second, while this property is old, the rustic charm is beautiful and unbeatable. Also, the room was huge! With a little balcony to go outside and enjoy. Last, the only down side was parking. If we didn’t need a car or to go to the airport so early, this would not have been an issue. If you don’t need a car, this is perfect! To get there, you do need to walk up a steep hill on cobblestones, so a rolling suitcase is not ideal.
