“Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed.
The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub.
Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

“If you are a football supporter, in particular the Liverpool Football Club, then this is the place for you. Within 200 metres walking distance of the famous Anfield Stadium this is your Nirvana! From the friendly staff who are always helpful, to warm, cleanly kept rooms and bar facilities adorned with football photos and other memorabilia. You will absolutely love this establishment. A wholesome breakfast is provided, should you require it.
