"It was a very unusual stopover for me in that I had a car accident less than 1km from the house after driving 1100km that day from northern France (beware Google maps satnav as it suggested I should turn around when I was on the right road, which effectively led to the accident). "We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."
