Small boutique hotel

Posted Oct 23, 2017
Pros: Friendly
Location: 5 minutes walks from central Princeton..
A small hotel near the center of Princeton. Simple complementary breakfast and a nice bar (and a good restaurant, which I didn't visit on this stay. The Peacock Inn has one irreducible advantage -- it is NOT the Nassau Inn, which is the obvious choice for central Princeton. I've stayed 1t 100's of hotels over the years. For value, Nassau Inn is absolutely the worst!

Wonderful small hotel

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Food is spectacular
Cons: Rooms are small but very well done. Need to add a desk or work space and improve seating. Management advised that this work will commence soon
Very nice property on quiet street. Excellent food

The staff was great from check in to check out and the hotel itself is very cozy! Can't wait to go back!

Classic House

Posted Dec 27, 2016
Pros: Mood
Cons: Impossible
Location: Just 5 to 10 minutes from the town
This is historical classic style hotel. So you can't get modern facilities. It was enough for me.

Expensive but a great place to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion.

Convenient location. Parking a bit of a hassle (blocked in by delivery trucks).

Great property, location, and service.. but pricey

Posted Jan 2, 2014 on Hotels
We enjoyed our stay. The location is terrific for a walkable visit. We parked our car and entertained ourselves on foot the rest of the time. The property appears to have been recently updated and is stylish and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit small, but still very comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. The plumbing from a neighboring room was a bit noisy, but it wasn't a major issue. As nice and enjoyable as our stay was, I would say that the price slightly exceeded the experience.
