"The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...

"Loved the property and area. My only advice is to update the listing. It says it sleeps 6, but it really only sleeps 4 with two queen size beds. Couch does not pull out, so you’d have to bring a blow up mattress for additional sleeping."

"Loved this adorable home! It was perfect for our short stay in Peoria to see The Cher Show at the Civic Center. It is very close to downtown , yet in a quiet neighborhood . We loved sitting outside on the deck . The only thing that was a minor problem was parking. We were able to put a car in the garage , but was unsure if we could park on the street in front of the house. We managed to squeeze the other two vehicles in the drive, but it was a tight fit. We will definitely return here!"

"Love the location. Central to all needs. Stairs - would preferred level without stairs. Almost Every thing we needed was there except broom. We were there 14 days. Would have like to sweep kitchen and bathroom. The washer/dryer was fed several times with no success. Maintenance said it would work later I tried but $4 later. No luck. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations"

"Ah, these girls graduated in 1975 so our version of “partying” was a little different 50 years ago! But we found the house to be well stocked and furnished nicely. Comfortable beds and really nice bathrooms! Did not use the hot tub …but thot it might be nice to add a table and chairs outdoors…but otherwise the property met our needs and was very spacious!"

"This house was one of our favorite vacation rentals. It was very spacious and clean and came stocked with many amenities. The owners were extremely friendly and attentive. The location was beautiful and private. We grilled out, had a fire in the fire pit, and enjoyed walking the trails. We spent a lot of time entertaining our friends and family in the area. It was the perfect vacation rental for our needs! I would highly recommend this property to others!!"
